Spencer founded digital agency Bluhalo and oversaw 1,100% growth between 2002-2007, becoming a Deloitte Tech UK fast 50 company. Spencer successfully sold the agency to Gyro International in 2008.
After completing 2 years of an earn out, and having taken Gyro/Bluhalo to the top 10 UK digital agencies, Spencer co-founded Cact.us alongside Peter Hoole.
Spencer is passionate about helping agency owners successfully scale their businesses and also co-founded The Agency Collective to increase collaboration across the agency community.
Peter helped grow Bluhalo to become the 12th largest digital agency in the UK with a turnover of £12M. After the company was sold to Gyro International in 2008, Peter co-founded Cact.us to advise and support the next generation of creative agencies.
In 2014, Peter co-founded The Agency Collective, offering networking and support to smaller agencies.
Peter has worked tirelessly since his exit from Gyro to support the independent creative sector and is one of the industry’s most well respected characters.
Mark is based in Edinburgh and works around the UK as a non-exec supporting some of the UK’s fastest growing agencies. Mark’s passion is collaboration and helping agency owners to achieve their goals.
As well as being an Ambassador to The Agency Collective, Mark is also a mentor with Creative Edinburgh.
Mark’s areas of agency expertise include Accounting, Auditing, Financial and Strategic Management, Tax Strategy, M&A advice, Systems Implementation, Process Improvement, HR and Legal.
Karl is an entrepreneurial marketer with a track record of starting, growing and selling businesses. He has over 20 years experience working in the UK, US and Singapore on both the agency and client side.
After founding and successfully exiting one of the UK’s fastest growing agencies, Cognito, Karl is now using this experience as an agency mentor and executive business coach.
Karl is also a qualified Henley Business School coach and a mentor for Microsoft Ventures helping their tech start up community.
James is the UK’s leading agency branding and positioning expert. He has founded a number of companies himself and is a believer in setting goals and making them happen.
A regular and highly regarded speaker, James has also been on the judging panels for The Drum and The Dadis awards.
James’ areas of agency expertise include Brand Communications, Brand Strategy, Brand Identity, Creative Development, Creative Direction, Writing, Art Direction, Graphic Design, Typography.
Will has held senior management and board level roles within independent and networked agencies, both in the UK and overseas.
Based in the West of England, Will works closely with agency owners and boards to help realise their vision. Will’s expertise has led to significant growth for some of the region’s fastest growing brand, creative, experience design and digital agencies.
Will’s areas of agency expertise include Strategy, New Business, Client Service, Partnerships, Operations and HR.
Lins provides agencies with the operational and production strategies they need to deliver high quality efficient and profitable projects.
Working alongside, as well as helping to build, project management teams, Lins ensure agencies have the right delivery culture, tools and processes to support efficient agency growth.
Lins was a founding author of the IPA/APA Interactive Framework for Producing Interactive Projects in Advertising produced in 2014. This has subsequently been widely adopted as best practice by leading advertising agencies and production companies in the UK.
Rob helps agencies increase profits by working with management teams to set strategy and focus on the core activities that will make a difference.
Using his 25+ years of business experience of starting, building and selling his own marketing business, Rob now devotes his time to helping agency owners grow their business.
Rob mainly focuses on advising agencies in PR, Marketing, Design, Web, Digital, Market Research & Recruitment.
Matt is an experienced and well connected individual who has a proven track record for creating and executing agency channel development strategies both in the UK and across multiple regions.
He has a deep understanding of the start-up community and vast experience of working within the digital industry, in particular business development with digital agencies across EMEA.
Matt is also an Executive Committee member of BIMA and continually striving to help shape the digital industry of tomorrow
Simon has a broad range of senior Management, Marketing and MarComms experience - from a global Marketing lead role, to MD of an Omnicom agency, to leading an agency sale to a PLC, to running and growing smaller regional agency teams, to starting his own successful agency.
With 15 years in London, and the same in the regions, Simon has a great combination of big agency understanding combined with how to make smaller regional agencies flourish, which he now uses to help companies and senior individuals through Non Exec support, projects and mentoring.
Simon is a Fellow of the IPA and was also Regional Chairman.
Matt helps ambitious business leaders to work through what they really want to achieve and how best to achieve it. Typically this is about creating significant growth, having a bigger impact on the world, and enjoying the business more.
He is also co-founding partner of Activate Capital, a venture founder for young technology companies.
